Which is it, 4 x D or 6 x AA batteries? The manual says 4 x D without battery charging function, on Robert's website it's 6 AA with charging function. I am confused, help

Addition: you can use alkaline or NiMH. But you have to operate a changeover switch.

I was just as confused, I ordered and paid for 4 x D together with the Roberts Revival. But that was wrong. It needs 6 x AA. Otherwise it is a good device.
