What about wifi dropouts with this AP? I currently have an Ubiquiti AP AC-LR in use, but the wifi simply drops out after a certain time if no device is actively running over it.

Hello everyone, I have 3 x TP-Link EAP245 with Omada controller as Docker container on a Raspberry PI 4 in use and am very satisfied. I use 6 SSIDs (to separate family / guest / IoT etc. WLAN). Very satisfied. No dropouts.

No dropouts here either so far. However, most of the time devices are constantly connected to the Wi-Fi, although during the night these devices are not really "active", i.e. they do not generate any throughput. Nevertheless, I haven't noticed any dropouts in the sense of interrupted connections or devices no longer connecting to the Wi-Fi. For a while, I had the problem with my MBP that it no longer

connected to the WLAN independently after hibernation - but this was due to the corresponding WLAN settings on the Mac and could be remedied.

I had a Netgear router that started to drop out occasionally after about 5 years and replaced it with a Tp-Link EAP245 (1300Mbit/s, 450Mbit/s) access point, which doesn't need a separate power supply (Cat 6 power cable is enough). Very satisfied so far. However, it was not easy to install.
