With the adapter, the LED strips beep. When the strips were still attached to the housing, there was no noise. What could be the reason for this?

Beep? I have never heard LEDs beep. That's very strange. Have you connected them properly? Maybe the LEDs are getting too much current and that's why they are beeping. Try switching them to white, if they turn yellow after a short time then at least one LED is dead and that could have caused the problem.
