I think that the 30th of april, 6 pm was the timeslot for the 699 price. If you look other sites they sell this card above 1k. So in comparison, 699/869 is cheap for the current market situation. (of course the price is not cheap, if you look at the UVP).

In totale honesty they already wrote in a note, that the prize could changing. The real problem is if they seriously already sold every gpu without any advice... I was waiting since a month to buy this gpu...
