Question about ASUS TURBO GeForce GTX 1080 Ti 11G

I would like to replace my GTX970 with a 1080 Ti card. However, my current Asus G10AJ system only has a 500W power supply. Should I replace the power supply as well?

Yes, that would be recommended, because otherwise you will always be operating the power supply unit at the power limit. I would recommend 650 or 700W.
