The Playmarker Set Full Metal from AK-Interactive includes six specially formulated metallic colors for precise painting of armor, weapons, and metallic accessories on 3D-printed objects. The markers feature a high-quality acrylic paint formula that provides excellent adhesion on plastic, resin, metal, and wood. The key advantage over conventional Edding or alcohol markers is that the paint does not run along the layer lines of FDM or resin prints, resulting in clean and even results. The quick-drying and water-resistant ink allows for precise work without smudging or color bleeding. Each marker is equipped with a fine brush tip, suitable for both detailed line work and broad application by using the side. Before first use, there is a pump button under the small protective cap on the back that needs to be pressed 1-2 times to flood the tip with paint. The paint can be applied in multiple layers and blended to achieve various effects and transitions. Once dry, the paint is handling resistant and can be worked on with additional weathering products without damaging the base coat. The high opacity ensures even results with the first application. For optimal results, the use of a white primer before painting is recommended. The set is excellent for post-processing 3D prints as well as for model building, tabletop miniatures, and artistic projects.
