The last polar bear in the universe is looking for a friend. Forget about eternal ice! Little polar bear Benny finds the polar ice melting beneath him. He sets out in search of a new home and a friend with whom he can start a family. Benny places a personal ad and meets a lot of very nice animals: the chicken Polly, the giraffe Anni, and the whale Ute. But none of them really seem to fit. Ute wants to dive all day long, but Benny can't hold his breath that long. It's too hot for him in the savannah with Anni. And Polly... well... there's the issue with laying eggs. A bear hatching from an egg? That's tricky, tricky. But then Benny receives a letter from Isabella! With many colorful illustrations by Horst Hellmeier.
