35-year-old Lili Gray finds herself at rock bottom when she has to close her café in a small Scottish coastal town. However, an unknown benefactor bequeaths her an old house on the Llyn Peninsula in North Wales. The slightly dilapidated pilgrim's inn and the garden on the cliffs immediately captivate Lili. From there, she gazes at Bardsey Island, which holds an inexplicable fascination for her.
