I see something that you don't see, and it becomes true. As a child, Julian sometimes had visions. Some of his classmates had strange markers on their faces or bodies that only he could see, and they all terrified him. For example, the red cloud that always obscures Verena's legs. Or the pale gray mists that flow from Lars' eyes. But since Julian started taking the right medication, the problem has disappeared. They were just misfirings in the brain, his therapist says. Meaningless illusions. Years later, at a class reunion, Julian meets Verena again. A shock: the once athletic girl is now in a wheelchair.
