New Friends: Lucky's life is turned upside down. The twelve-year-old girl moves with her father from the city to the countryside - right in the heart of the Wild West. However, this strange new place holds special friendships for her. Soon, she meets Pru and Abigail and becomes friends with them. The new home seems to be better than expected. When Lucky encounters the wild Mustang Spirit shortly after, she knows immediately that the untamed stallion and she will be friends for life. Trust is everything. Lucky learns that the big Saddle Club ride is happening in three days and wants to participate right away. Pru advises her against it, saying she is not ready yet. However, Lucky manages to convince her to give her lessons so that she can be saddle-ready in three days and master the difficult jumps on the danger path.
