The impressive angel's trumpets are among the most well-known container plants and have significantly increased in popularity in recent years, as their striking flower bells are exceptionally decorative, and the plants are relatively easy to care for and propagate. The only important condition is sufficient space on the terrace or in the garden, as well as a place for wintering. The attractive possibilities for new cultivars make these plants even more interesting. In the first edition of this book, the authors described for the first time the cultivated species, hybrids, and varieties of the genus Brugmansia and made them identifiable with a key. Since then, new varieties have emerged, and the authors have gathered new insights from practical cultivation, necessitating a thorough revision of the book. Additionally, the herbaceous growing form has now also been taken into account.
