The new year is truly a new chance for everything!

Karolina shares her one-room apartment only with her dog Kąsek and is very happy about it. However, she is less happy with her job, her arguing parents, and her grumpy aunt. To make matters worse, she gets hit by a car on New Year's Day. This little accident, however, prompts Karolina to reflect on her dreams and promise herself to pursue her greatest passion, singing, this year. But will she be able to overcome her paralyzing fear of performing on stage?

Daniel is a doctor and loves his job. Sometimes too much. When he loses consciousness from exhaustion and has to go on vacation, he decides to dedicate more time to his loved ones. Additionally, he finds himself thinking more and more about the charming neighbor he was brought together with by the noise of firecrackers and a frightened dog. It was a fantastic, albeit somewhat unfortunate, start to their relationship. Will their willingness to help each other bring them together?
