Product details

Even small caterpillars can be very hungry. That's why the caterpillar is always on the lookout for something to eat - and it finds it. She eats her way through a mountain of treats page by page from Monday to Sunday until she is finally satisfied. Now the time has come to build a cocoon, and after two weeks of waiting a beautiful butterfly will hatch out of it.
The little ones play with the little caterpillar by sticking their fingers through the punched caterpillar feeding holes. Somewhat older children discover with her the days of the week, fruits, numbers and the metamorphosis in nature. And everyone loves their secret message of hope, which its creator Eric Carle describes as follows: "I can also grow up. I can also spread my wings (my talents) and fly into the world."
The small caterpillar Nimmersatt captivates not least by its colourful collage-like illustrations and its special equipment with partly shortened sides and hole punching. It has been a classic of children's literature for decades and, with over 30 million copies, is one of the best-selling picture books in the world.
The large cardboard edition of this children's book classic is particularly suitable for small children's hands due to its high stability and grip.
