Doctor Döblinger's tasteful puppet theater is not just any ordinary tent puppet show, but rather delightful, literary entertainment for children. The owners, authors, narrators, and puppeteers are Richard Oehmann and Josef Parzefall, who have written and performed nine children's plays for their stage across Germany. Plot: To avoid spending the beautiful summer day alone, Kasperl rescues his friend Seppl from working for the king. With two tractor tubes, they escape on a cozy river journey. However, they are pursued by the furious king and the crocodile Chantalle. They are also fluttered around by a mysterious butterfly that has been accidentally transformed by an evil wizard.
