Doctor Döblinger's tasteful puppet theater is not just any ordinary tent show, but delightful, literary entertainment for children. The puppet stage has received numerous excellent reviews and has been featured at various theaters and festivals, including the Munich Volkstheater. The owners, authors, narrators, and puppeteers are Richard Oehmann and Josef Parzefall, who have written and performed nine children's plays across Germany for their stage. "Kasperl and the Spoon Herb" continues Doctor Döblinger's series of Kasperl audio plays. The texts are written in the Bavarian dialect with a strong inclination towards the absurd. However, the focus is always on exciting entertainment for children, while adults are sure to enjoy a good laugh as well. The characters are classic Kasperl figures, including a policeman, a magician, a dog, Seppl, a crocodile, a king, and more. To cure Seppl's hiccups, Kasperl and Seppl venture into the "wild woods" in search of the magical spoon herb. But the wizard Wurst and the witch Annegeer are also after the herb. The two villains have teamed up to cast a spell on humanity that will leave them in fits of laughter. To prevent this, Kasperl and Seppl decide to completely eradicate the rare herb. Unfortunately, they are hindered by the mysteriously giggling Endorphin, a good but very silly fairy who guards the spoon herb. Special guest: Luise Kinseher.
