Product details

Doing nothing day in, day out, looking pretty and behaving well - that can be quite boring in the long run. It's not so nice to be a princess. Isabella, the youngest of three sisters, was in any case tired of always walking around in fine clothes and with a crown on her head. How could you climb trees with it! "Princesses don't climb trees!" her father, the king, ranted. But with his youngest, he was just in time. "Yes, yes, yes," cried Isabella. "Princesses don't do anything fun. Don't even pick your nose!" Then the king stamped his foot and ordered that his daughter should be taken to the kitchen to peel potatoes and slice onions. Isabella liked it in the kitchen, and when after three days she was still not purified, the king had her taken to the pigsty. In the pigsty Isabella liked it even better. She even stayed at night. Then the king realized he had lost. "Come back to the castle, daughter," he sighed. "I miss you." Isabella did him the favor. For his sake she even put on the crown now and then. But from time to time she slept in the stable.
