When regular scanners reach their limits…
Standard flatbed or sheet-fed scanners are usually not suitable for this task, as they are designed for processing individual sheets. Attempting to scan books with these can cause the binding to break and damage the book block. Additionally, the margins of the pages, especially at the spine, are often distorted or not captured at all.
