Small Kingdom is an extraordinary singer-songwriter experience that focuses on African music while not hesitating to incorporate other styles of Western music. The band was originally formed with the intention of blending classical music with popular music from around the world. Eventually, the band concentrated on South African music and collaborated with other artists from Johannesburg and Cape Town for South African singers such as Zamajobe Sithole, Melanie Scholtz, and Monique Hellenberg. The upcoming tour dates will feature these singers, one after the other, on different dates, with the renowned singer and guitarist Ron Spielman performing at each of these concerts. Inspired by the hundredth birthday of Nelson Mandela, the band named their new album "South African Edition," which was released as a CD by ZYX Music in April 2022 and will now also be available on vinyl.
