Applying the Vinyl to Fabrics

To ensure the iron-on vinyl lasts as long as possible on the textile you wish to apply it to, it's important to apply the vinyl correctly. Therefore, follow the instructions as closely as possible. Make sure the garment you want to apply the design to is clean. Additionally, wash new garments before applying the vinyl, as they are often treated with chemicals to enhance color vibrancy. These chemicals should be removed before processing.

Now, preheat the area where the design will be ironed on with your iron for five to ten seconds. Ensure that the steam function is turned off if using a steam iron. Then, place the design on the preheated fabric and iron over it in circular motions for about 30 seconds. Flip the fabric over and iron the back for approximately 15 seconds in circular motions as well. Allow the material to cool for one to two minutes afterward.

Care Instructions

After application, wait 24 hours before washing. Iron the garment only on the back. Do not bleach the garment.
