Yes, toner cartridges (1 per colour) are supplied. However, I would strongly advise against buying this device. The printer itself is good, solidly built and the print quality is - considering the price - also good. The printer driver is a complete disaster. For example, you cannot print in CMYK mode, only in RGB. This means that in the software (e.g. Photoshop, InDesign or Illustrator), CMYK data must be converted to RGB in order to be printed again in CMYK-coloured pigment in the device itself. Naturally with a loss of colour fastness. That alone is a nuisance. What's even worse is that A4 cannot be printed on unless you buy an additional cassette. When selecting the sheet feeder and A4 format, I always get error messages and the machine won't print. So I have to print every A4 sheet on A3 and cut it out. Can you imagine the effort involved? Result: I simply don't use the device any more, it has served me well on the way to the paperless office, so to speak. Conclusion: mechanics and electronics OK, software: a crime. Hands OFF!!!!
