Question about Brother MFC-J4340DW
When I tried this printer, when scanning small originals there was always a black border on the left (wherever there was no paper on the glass). If you do a scan with no paper on the glass at all, there is a continuous black line on the left. Apparently the lid does not close cleanly there. Is this a general problem with this printer or was this a Monday model?

I have just made test cans. Once hung up and once with auto feed. No problems. No black border visible.
Scanning works fine on my machine. No streaks or borders.
Everything works perfectly with the printer I bought.
I have had absolutely no problem with these printers and do not know this problem.
I never had such problems either.
