The sandwich futon is a 16 cm thick cotton mattress with a core of latex foam and a coconut fibre panel. The sandwich futons have a higher density and thickness than traditional Japanese futon bedding, but still inherit all the good properties of a traditional futon. The sandwich futon offers medium-soft sleeping comfort. The cotton in the futon moulds to your body, the coconut slab provides support and the soft latex foam in the core isolates slight movements.
