Can the Philips Hue also be used (with the remote control) if you don't have internet?

- The remote control is a 1:1 Bluetooth connection to the paired lamp.
- The app can be used to control up to 10 Hue devices via Bluetooth.
- If you want to control more than 10 devices via the app, a Philips hub is required. This then requires at least a good local WLAN (technically speaking, not necessarily Internet to the outside)
- If you also want to control your lamps/devices from outside the local network, you will need a Philips Hub (Cloud) account and a functioning internet connection.

Problem-free. When connected to the hub, the adjustment of the light colour and brightness is simply finer. But it's almost more of a gimmick. The remote control is sufficient for the basic settings.
