Unlike other coffee machines, the water does not simply run from top to bottom through the coffee powder. The Pebo vacuum coffee maker doesn't even look like a conventional coffee machine. It consists of two glass containers which are inserted into each other and connected by a glass rod. The desired amount of water is filled into the lower jug and the coffee powder into the upper part. At the end only the lid has to be put on. The Pebo vacuum coffee maker can then be placed on the hob. The water in the jug rises through the glass rod into the upper container with the coffee powder during heating. As soon as the jug is removed from the stove, the finished coffee automatically flows back into the lower jug due to the vacuum created. A fascinating process, which is very nice to watch.
