Distillation is a method in which water is heated to purify it from inorganic minerals and chemicals. These substances, such as metals, calcium, sodium, and magnesium, have a boiling point above 100 degrees and do not evaporate during the distillation process. All substances present with a boiling point below 100 degrees are captured by the filter.
