Creativ Company Cotton Yarn Macramé Cord Red

This single-strand macramé cord is ideal for macramé projects. It is made from 80% recycled cotton and 20% polyester. The length is 198 m, the diameter is 2 mm, and it weighs 330 g. The cord is available in red and is suitable for knotting smaller objects such as dream catchers, hoops, keychains, and more. It is washable at 30 °C.

Macramé is a very old technique where sturdy yarn or cord is tied into various types of knots to create different patterns and designs. Our technique videos demonstrate how some of these knots are made. Macramé requires almost no tools other than thread or cord. However, we recommend using a clipboard with a clamp to secure the yarn or cord strands while working. Finally, the loose thread ends can be unraveled, combed with a coarse comb, and possibly trimmed to create pretty fringes.
