Whenever I visit Hamburg, the gateway to the world, from Copenhagen, I am fascinated by the development of the Elbphilharmonie construction. I find its design simply beautiful and very poetic. This inspired me to create a product as a tribute to this magnificent building that also serves as a reminder in everyday life. Philippi responded enthusiastically to my salt and pepper shakers, Elbharmonie. When viewed individually, the shakers resemble modern sculptures, but when placed together in their tray, they form a miniature strikingly similar to the Elbphilharmonie.
