No, aluminium is not usable with an induction plate. You need this to use it: Bialetti Induktionskochfeld-Adapterplatte

Unfortunately, this is not specified even on the manufacturer's website. I therefore assume no, as other espresso pots that are suitable for induction specify this. :-(
