That wouldn't quite work :) unless you make an intermediate piece yourself and use a lot of glue. But you will only be annoyed and it won't be stable either. But it is super suitable for the kitchen. I can only recommend it.
Yes, in normal mode it lights up green, when a cartridge change is necessary it first lights up yellow and then red. After the change, you can activate the normal mode again. Has been working fine for years 😊
The WD 3030 has a M22 port, so I think it should be possible, but I haven't tried it... Maybe you could also ask directly Britta (info-cpd@brita.net).
3030 is higher in height and water only flows out of 1 hole (hole-in-hole solution). 3020 is lower in height and has 2 holes in a row. So basically different mass and 1/2 holes.
