This is because we can obtain the EU devices much more cheaply. The availability of the CH version is also lower, which drives up the price.
We apologise for the inconvenience. We have just checked your order and, according to the computer, everything indicates that an adapter should be present. Please contact customer service so that our staff can take care of it as soon as possible: https://helpcenter.digitec.ch/hc/fr/requests/new
If you buy the item from Galaxus, not a sub-vendor from Germany, the 2-year warranty applies according to the conditions in the warranty description. See https://www.konsumentenschutz.ch/online-ratgeber/wie-lange-hat-man-garantie/
Hello That was exactly the question I asked myself at the time. As I was able to find out, the difference was only in the plug. The EU version did not have a CH plug. But that's not a problem, there are adapters. I had ordered the EU and had no problems. But that was three years ago.
The adapter. If the plug is European, we provide a mini adapter :)
Probably the plug. The EU version will most likely come with a Schuko plug where Digitec MUST supply an adapter (unless they forget again).
Due to different purchasing conditions and changing suppliers over a certain period of time, price changes/fluctuations may occur. We generally work with daily prices.
No, it will be a European take.
Steam cleaners are primarily suitable for sealed floors. For unsealed floors, the floor could be damaged. https://www.kaercher.com/de/home-garden/dampfreiniger.html
I would rather not use the SV7 for this. I don't think the steam nozzle will get the moss out of the joints. (And if it does, it will probably do so at a laborious minimum speed). I would rather use a traditional high-pressure cleaner than hot steam (with correspondingly less pressure). The SV7 is practical for tiles, windows, etc.. But for outdoor use, it probably just doesn't have enough pressure. Greetings Oli
The difference is that the cheaper model is the european version with an EU plug and comes with a swiss adapter. The more expensive model comes with a swiss plug. Otherwise, the accessories and the device are all the same.
We are not quite the same :-) We work with different suppliers and daily prices. There can be a difference to the items at Migros.
We work with different suppliers and daily prices. A fluctuation can occur, even if it's not Cyber Monday :-)
Is the same model. Accessories are also identical
It comes with 2 window squeegees 1x wide and 1x narrow. There are nozzles that can be used for a sofa. Very good suction, however quite disappointing regarding the amount of steam to clean the floor, it would need 2 to 3x more steam to properly moisten and then vacuum. For other cleaning jobs it is fine.
The data sheets are the same, the works at the same manner. The main difference is in the electrical plug (Schuko 16A the European standard) but they will provide an adapter European to Swiss standard.
The unit has an EU plug otherwise they are identical
Basically, you should (and I say this as an owner!) think twice before buying and consult the many videos and experience reports. After using it twice, the useless and very impractical thing has been standing around uselessly for over a year now. Capische? ;o)
No, unfortunately there was no adapter included in the package and I had to buy it separately.
No, unfortunately we cannot offer this model. Kind regards
Basically, the units are technically the same except for the power plug. For the EU version, we will of course send you a suitable power adapter.
As you can see in the specifications, the contents of the delivery are: Window jeti, Flat nozzle, Furniture brushi, Round brushi, Floor nozzle with three attachments, Hand nozzle, HEPA filter, Pencil jet nozzle, Sponge cloth, Storage bag for accessories, Steam/suction hoses (2 x 0.5m), Safety valve, Cleaning brush for water tank.
The SC5 is a steam cleaner, i.e. it only spits out steam to clean, for example, a barbecue, the bathroom, etc. The SV7 also vacuums, which is handy for cleaning carpets, sofas, etc.

It looks like it is effectively the same article.
The product is supplied by 2 different suppliers, hence the extreme price differences. The CH version has a Swiss plug and has been blessed by the Pope. The EU version has a Schuko plug and Angela Merkel has touched it. https://www.galaxus.ch/de/s2/QuestionAndAnswer/quelle-est-la-difference-entre-la-version-ch-et-la-version-eu-a-part-le-prix-40422
