I don't know exactly what google home is, but I can assure you that the Philips 800 Series has no wifi connection whatsoever. It only has an on/off switch and you can switch between fan speeds. Other Philips devices have wifi connectivity, but I haven't tried them.
This one is the right one. https://erp.digitecgalaxus.ch/de/Product/ProductGeneral/12410050 However, we currently have no information about the delivery date.
We bought this air purifier for our children's room due to hay fever. The appliance has proved its worth, runs very quietly in whisper mode and is also suitable for the bedroom at night.
The display that shows the air quality data is essentially the colour ring itself that you found at the top of the device. This colour ring shows the air quality in real time by switching between different colours, such as blue for good air quality and red for poor air quality.
There is no separate display unit for more detailed data; the visual feedback function is mainly realised through the colour ring.
The air purifier accurately calculates the service life of the filter based on the degree of soiling and the operating time. To make maintenance easier, you will be informed when the filter needs to be replaced.
No, because this model does not have an activated carbon filter. The AC0850/11 would be more suitable. Or retrofitting this air purifier with the FY0293/30 might also be an option.
Hello, I ordered the same appliance, with 1 spare filter. When I received the appliance, I noticed that the spare filter had not been delivered. Thank you very much. P.A Z Colombier
The only difference I see is in the description. The one at 180chf mentions sensor.
Both have hepa filters and both cover 49m
I have a dust allergy and find it has been a tremendous help.
Of course, the filter can only catch particles that are moving in the air. So you will probably still have cat hair lying around.
However, my allergist told me that an allergy to animals actually comes from the dust that the animals bring in and not from the hair.
In that case, the HEPA filter should be helpful.
There is now a new model Xiaomi Air Purifier 4, which generates negatively charged ions, negatively charged ions make it possible to clean dust even better. The performance of the new Air Purifier 4 has also been improved and the filter now has a larger surface area of 2.4 square metres (the predecessors had an area of approx. 2 square metres).
Xiaomi Mi Air Purifier 4
Probably not, as it does not have an activated carbon filter. You would have to buy the new replacement filter, which has the activated charcoal filter integrated inside. The larger models, such as the 2889 or 5659, which I also have, have an activated carbon filter, so they also remove odours without any problems. But as I wrote, you can pimp the small one with the new filter. I hope I was able to help.
Yes, the Philips 800 series AC0820/10 air purifier is very effective against dust problems. Here are some key points that emphasise its ability to remove dust:
- The air purifier has a 2-layer filtration consisting of a NanoProtect HEPA filter and a pre-filter. This filtration captures 99.5% of ultra-fine particles, including dust, with a size of just 0.003 micrometres.
- The HEPA filter is specially designed to remove airborne particles such as dust, pollen and other particles from the air.
- The air purifier is able to efficiently clean rooms up to 49 m² and distributes clean air to every corner of the room, which is particularly useful for removing dust particles.
With these functions, the Philips 800 series AC0820/10 can significantly remove dust particles from your air and create a clean and healthy environment.
### Filter Compatibility
The Philips NanoProtect HEPA filter (FY0194/30) is compatible with the Philips Series 800 (AC0820/10). This filter is designed for use with Series 800 air purifiers, including the AC0820/10.
### Cleaning the Inside of the Unit
To clean the inside of your Philips Series 800 air purifier, you can follow a few simple steps:
- Remove the filter and clean it according to the manufacturer's instructions, if applicable.
- Use a soft, dry cloth to remove dust from the interior surfaces.
- Avoid using chemicals or water, as this could damage the appliance.
- Most Philips air purifiers have pre-filters that can be cleaned, and the unit will usually notify you when the pre-filter needs to be cleaned or replaced.
These steps should help keep your air purifier clean and in good working order.
Question for Digitec Galaxus AG: A year ago, I sent an e-mail stating that two incorrect filters for the AC0820/10 model were shown in Fig. 5. According to the feedback, it was forwarded to the responsible department. Nothing has changed...
On picture 2 you can see yourself that the filter is round and not rectangular. I assume that Philips has provided you with these photos (?) and if so, it is somewhat questionable that Philips does not even know their own filters.
The correct filters for the product AC0820/10 are:
FY0194/30 (without activated carbon filter)
FY0293/30 ( with activated carbon filter).
I am in possession of all the products, so I know that.
There is one included, but I would rather recommend the Kassensturz test winner from 2020, because they don't use filter mats but 360 degree filters in cylider form. A very good model of the test winner would be this one, for example (it is actually smaller than you think):
Xiaomi Mi Air Purifier 3H (44 m²)
It also has a HEPA H13 filter.
Here is the link to the Kassensturz test report (the test winner also had a HEPA H13 filter and the prices quoted by 2020 were never that high).

I found this information on cleaning the filter from the manufacturer:
For theAC08xx model, there is no warning message for cleaning the pre-filter or the filter. Follow the cleaning schedule and instructions in the user manual to clean the surface of the filter with a damp cloth or hoover. When the filter replacement warning (Figure 2) is displayed on the screen, the filter must be replaced. Read the instruction manual for instructions on how to change the filter for your model.
The link to the manual would be here:
https://www.philips.de/c-p/AC0820_10/series-800-luftreiniger/support#XC000012486
Good to know before simply replacing the filter and throwing it away, it can be cleaned and reused according to the manual.
