This review was created for a different variant: Espresso pot Moka Express Mint, 3 cups (3 T.)
Simple system that generates good filter coffee. 3 cups are very tight. Italian cups à la ristretto are probably meant. Otherwise, with a full pot, you are more likely to get two small espressos or a normal cup of coffee. Ideal for one-person households.

Excelent coffee, good product. Great delivery, friendly service
With proper use you make a good coffee with it, I can recommend!\r\n\r\nBut here are a few things to consider!\r\n1. Add hot water from the kettle, not cold\r\n2. Cook the coffee on a small step (with me a 4)\r\n3. Do not press the coffee, but only smooth\r\n4. As soon as suddenly more water and air comes at the end, immediately remove from the stove and, if necessary, cool at the bottom so that the process stops\r\n\r\nSo, I wish good espresso

I use this every single morning and love the design, even if it isn't perfect.
I have had four Bialetti Moka pots over the years (different sizes). The metal surface of each one has had various surface imperfections when new, but they all do the job well. This size (Express 3T) makes the perfect amount of Moka for one person, in my experience. There is no excess waste, and you can just throw the coffee grounds into the organic waste/compost before cleaning.
You need to replace the rubber gasket after a few years, and maybe also the filter (sold together at an affordable price). I recommend that you note the name of the model you buy when it is new: when the time comes to get replacement parts, I find Bialetti's labelling system is confusing... and the model name is not indicated on the pot itself.
(This is sacrilege to some people, i know, but *do* clean the disassembled parts with soap regularly. The idea that letting a layer of oils and old coffee build up inside the pot gives better flavour makes absolutely no sense. Also, if you live in an area where the water is high in minerals, you will need to descale the water reservoir once in a while to get back to clean aluminium. That's easy to do with white vinegar.)

Coffee is okay, but not a real espresso

If you want to enjoy a perfect mocha at home or in the office, just like in Italy, this is the perfect choice.

It says 3 cups, but they are very small cups, and I like large coffees, so this barely makes one cup, so I ordered a 6 cup. But the coffee is excellent and I recommend it for those who don't want to invest in a coffee machine.

According to the specifications when I made the purchase :
Property of the moka coffee maker
Compatible heaters
Electric, Gas, Halogen, Vitroceramic
Use and care
Hand wash
"The coffee maker doesn't work with Vitroceramic".

I like the (decade?) old design of the plastic parts (handle, lid knob) better, but this product is basically perfect.
Ideal for a coffee drinker's breakfast (2 cups or 3 espressos). Do not machine wash! Remove from the heat when the coffee starts to brew, wait 2 minutes and then put another shot on the hotplate to finish brewing.
The aroma spreads throughout the kitchen. The best!

There is no point in making comparisons, the Bialetti aluminium moka is the best.
The cooker has metal chips inside and is still oily, probably from milling. The appearance of the housing is also not cleanly finished.
I expect more from a brand manufacturer like Bialetti (I have the cooker for induction cookers and it was top quality).
Apart from that, the cooker serves its purpose, 3 star rating due to the disappointing delivery/quality assurance.

It simply has to be noted that the "3" cups obviously mean MINI Expresso cups and not normal Expresso cups. It would also be better to indicate the dl content.

I've been using this type of coffee maker in various sizes for several years. Beware of Chinese brands at half the price, which will not last long. For a good non-bitter coffee, respect the construction protocol.
