Product details

Sustainability is a top priority. Renewable raw materials are an essential topic that concerns us all. OrganiQ showcases a combination of rapidly renewable bast fibers with a water-based binder that is free from formaldehyde and phenol. This is an important contribution to sustainability, made in Germany.

Material composition: 68 percent natural fiber (equal parts hemp and kenaf), 7 percent recycled PET (from recycled beverage bottles, certified according to "Global Recycled Standard 4.0"), 25 percent cross-linking, thermosetting binder (produced on a water basis, free from formaldehyde and phenolic resins). This results in the environmentally friendly composite material OrganiQ.

Quality: From the material to manufacturing to recycling – the development of OrganiQ, in collaboration with the Institute for Composite Materials at TU Kaiserslautern, focused on the entire process chain. This provides the perfect foundation to produce OrganiQ using existing machines at the Rockenhausen woodworks according to our own demanding quality standards.
