Do any of you use this appliance to dry laundry? We dry our clothes in a small room and it takes about 2-3 days (we don't have any humidity problems in this room - it's always about 50% at 23°C). Does this appliance speed up the process so that the clothes dry in about 24 hours?

We use this appliance in our cellar to dry the laundry and to avoid moisture problems. The laundry is dry after 24 hours at the latest if it was previously spun in the washing machine. I have never dried dripping wet laundry with the appliance.

I can confirm the first answer. 
Here is a corresponding excerpt from the operating instructions:

"To speed up the drying process of clothes, we recommend selecting the lowest adjustable relative humidity (30%) or running the appliance continuously at maximum fan speed. Adjust the ventilation slot so that the dry air is directed towards the laundry and make sure that no water from the clothes drips onto or into the dehumidifier. You can speed up the drying process even more by placing the laundry in a small room with the heating on and using extra fans."
