Yes, but it was a few years ago. The coating peeled off and was replaced without any problems. No more problems since then. Otherwise, I am very satisfied with the racelette oven.

I have been using 2 of these ovens for several years and have not experienced any problems. Of course, the coating loses some of its non-stick effect over time, especially if it is not maintained properly, but I think this is the case with almost every raclette oven.
