Hello, as I have very calciferous water and the appliance calcifies quickly, as I have read, I use distilled water. Otherwise, you can't open it to clean it. At the most, try a descaler.

Hi, I haven't had to descale or "clean" the machine once so far. I just rinse it out when I'm done cleaning it.
