How does the self cleaning work?

Had a defect after using it twice and returned it.
Hello, very simple. Place it in the charging station and press the cleaning button. This takes about 1 minute. Then remove the roll and place it in the holder provided to dry. Done. Very simple.
The CrossWave is placed back in the charging station after use.
As soon as the CrossWave is in the charging station and connected to the power supply, a beep sounds, signalling that the appliance is now charging or that the self-cleaning function can be activated.
The self-cleaning button on the CrossWave can now be pressed.
The CrossWave then starts to rinse the cleaning roller with cleaning water from the tank, which in turn rotates itself at a very high speed. Due to the rapid rotation and simultaneous rinsing, the roller cleans itself quite reliably.
After this process, the tank and cleaning filter should be cleaned; if it is left for too long, unpleasant odours will develop in the waste water tank.
