I have just bought it and it seems to me that 3.5 cm is too high. I advise you to contact the manufacturer directly for an accurate and reliable answer.

The manufacturer does not state that it passes door thresholds, but that it can pass carpets. The manufacturer does not give any measurements but it should be 2 cm max.
