can you connect it with the app?

Depending on how much rice is cooked, the rice is ready much faster than specified. For example, 2 cups of uncooked rice (for 3-4 people) is ready in 40 minutes, even though you have selected the 60-minute mode.

There are two options for cooking rice... a quick one in 30 minutes... and a normal one in 60 minutes

The "quick-rice" programme takes 30 minutes, plus about 10 minutes heating time, i.e. 40 minutes. The normal rice programme takes 1 hour. We haven't tried vegetables and soups yet
