In my case, 2 filters were included: motor input filter and motor output filter. In my opinion, a HEPA filter must be purchased separately; it is a cartridge that is used instead of the motor output filter.
Miele used to distinguish between HEPA and high-efficiency dust filters. A combination of both is not possible. Miele argues that it is not economically feasible to manufacture both systems in one housing.
