you don't have to buy it from the same manufacturer, just go to the electrical store and buy an extension cable there, you'll get away with it cheaper, it's really easy!

The assembled cable is 1m long. If you need a longer one, I would buy it separately. These are available in electrical stores in lengths of 3, 5, 10m.
