Is there an anti-limescale filter? If so, is it removable?

No, but boil it once a week with 50g of vinegar and all the limescale goes away.
You can't really call it a filter because the holes are so big. And so no, not removable. It's a pity because this makes this kettle mediocre, apart from this problem it's fine.
No. For descaling white vinegar budget is fine

The manual suggests NOT to use vinegar to clean. Maybe because of the sensor, or the aluminium, I don't know.
I had to send back two units, because the base was not working anymore.
Otherwise, very happy with the product until it failed.
