My new hoover has been displaying "Filter needs cleaning" since the first time I used it. Error? How can I fix it?

I have to clean the filter every fortnight. Then it runs much quieter. But it only shows when it's dirty. Fortunately.

It is not a fault, but service on the hoover. Remove the dust filter and rinse it under the tap and let it dry. The procedure is probably shown on the display, otherwise you can find it in the description on the internet. Have fun with the Dyson, a very good device.
