Question about iRobot Roomba i7+

Our new IRobot Roomba i7+ ran perfectly for the first 5 m11 days. However, for the last 2 days it has been at a standstill as it is no longer charging the battery. It is correctly placed on the docking station, the sensors have been cleaned and power is available. What is the problem? My fault or is this a known problem? How can I fix the problem?

Helpful answer

By sensors, do you mean the metal contact points on the station and under the Robo that are used for charging? I had the same problem because an oxide layer formed on them and sufficient current flow was no longer guaranteed. Cleaning with water only helps to a limited extent. It is better to use vinegar (then water again and dab dry) or mechanically (green scotch sponge that you normally use for washing). Good luck :)

I took delivery of my Roomba i7+ on 18.06.19 and started using it on 23.06. It managed to lock itself in twice (closed the door behind itself) and once pushed the rug together and got stuck on it. Then the clean button was no longer usable until I put the Roomba in the charging station. So far it has always recovered and recharged.
I therefore suspect that you have a Monday production, which you should exchange in clarification with Digitec Support.
