It's hard to say. There are tiles (stone/ceramic) in my house. The mop can clean all the stains pretty efficiently - hard core stains (sticky ones that have already dried - in that case you need to remove them manually or scrub them - depends.....sometimes you have to, sometimes not.
For the price of 70.10 I can say with confidence that this is one really good mop :-) - very convenient and easy to use
