the mixer and its components are designed for occasional use. the agitator is available as a spare part, but how can anything become defective there ; the mixer rod itself ... is made of metal ... nothing can happen there either. the other plastic parts ... yes, nothing should fall off or get into the dishwasher ..... as I said, the use is in the range of minutes and not hours.... So careful handling is the order of the day!
