The Continental Grand Prix 5000 S TR tyre impresses in all test categories. The tyre achieves a top score for rolling resistance, puncture protection is at least solid in all areas and the weight is quite low. Without any weaknesses, the rather high price is justified. A clear buy tip.
Conti doesn't shy away: top marks for rolling resistance and puncture protection, ahead in terms of weight. Only the slightly increased effort required to fit the tyres and the high price tarnish the happiness. Test victory!
The Grand Prix 5000S achieves a top value for rolling resistance. Grip and comfort are top notch. The weight is still within the green zone for a tubeless model. In the puncture protection tests, the 5000S makes it into the top ranks. The initial fitting, however, is somewhat difficult.
