With the Big Apple ten years ago, the Balloonbike trend began: comfortable cycling without any complicated technology! The air cushion of the tyres is used as natural suspension. With approx. 2 bar a Balloonbike rolls wonderfully light and with full suspension. A normal tyre with a width of 37 mm has to be inflated with 4 bar hard to roll similarly well.
