Power transfer and stability are improved by a larger contact area of 725 square millimetres compared to the already large 700 square millimetre area of the XPREssO. The ICLIC system with its pre-opened design enables positive click-in and more comfort. In combination with the ICLIC Float Cleats, this pedal allows free movement (angular and lateral) while clipped in, reducing stress on the knees. TIME XPRO pedals offer three options for axle lengths to provide more ergonomic options. The XPRO 12 SL features low-wattage ceramic bearings and a super-lightweight hollow titanium axle, resulting in a total weight of 87.3 grams per pedal. The carbon plate is also adjustable in three positions to optimise the engagement tension. The low engagement height of the pedal ensures that the rider's sole is as close as possible to the centre of the pedal axle, which, together with the large pedal surface, results in unparalleled efficiency and comfort when pedalling.
