Question about thru axle Shimano M12x142x1.5mm / 170mm - 242014
My axle says SCT2E Boost 171.5x12mm, quick release. The bike is a Scott Contessa. Is this axle compatible? Kind regards and thanks in advance
The length and diameter fit. The 1.5mm shorter almost certainly does not matter. But now the thread needs to be clarified. If your existing thru axle has a thread M12x1.5, i.e. a metric 12mm thread with a pitch of 1.5mm, then everything fits. The chances are great that it will fit.
